The Grand Duomo offers a great location just across from the famous Duomo and is surrounded by vibrant streets filled with shops. However, I found the rooms to be quite disappointing, as they felt very outdated and cramped. The service at the reception was rather lackluster, and the breakfast left much to be desired. Overall, it has its pros, mainly the location, but I wouldn't recommend it without some reservations.
The rooms were tiny and sparingly furnished, with a window that couldn't be opened due to pigeons nesting nearby.
The staff seemed indifferent and not particularly accommodating, which was disappointing.
Situated right across from Milan's dazzling Duomo and close to high-end shopping, the location is superb.
The breakfast was quite basic and didn't meet my expectations, leaving much to be desired.
The overall facilities felt outdated and lacked the luxury one would expect at a grand hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel and enjoyed the charming atmosphere, especially the awe-inspiring views of the Duomo from my room. While many staff members were friendly and helpful, my check-in experience was somewhat disappointing due to a lack of prompt assistance. The breakfast quality was also inconsistent, making it less enjoyable than expected for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, the location is fantastic for exploring Milan, but the service and dining experience could definitely use improvement.
My room offered a spectacular view of the Duomo, which was the highlight of my stay. However, some of the other reviews highlight issues with rooms overlooking dark areas or maintenance problems.

I had a pretty frustrating experience at this hotel. While the location near the Duomo was superb, and some of the staff were friendly and attentive, the room was a major letdown and didn't meet my expectations for a grand hotel. It lacked charm and comfort, and the service at times felt transactional, especially if you didn't tip. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for the price they charge.
